Junior parkrun is a free 2km event for children between the ages of 4 and 14 of all running standards, which will take place every Sunday at 9:00 am in Pinner Village Gardens.
Parkrun has now given us the all-clear to start the junior parkrun and have set up a dedicated website for us, containing all essential information.
Initially, we will run a small scale pilot event to test our equipment, course suitability and most importantly………. our preparation! If successful, we plan to go live the following week.
To participate in the junior parkrun and have your position and time listed on the parkrun website, please ensure you are registered via the following link. There is a dropdown box for your Home parkrun, we are expecting Pinner Village Gardens junior parkrun to be loaded very soon.

The Friends of Pinner Village Gardens have now reached the funding target of £4,000 needed for the establishment of a junior parkrun in Pinner thanks to successful community efforts and events, local business, community and charitable donations.
Junior parkrun offers an opportunity for all the family to get involved and come together on a regular basis to help improve their health and fitness whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of this beautiful park. Everyone can jog, run, skip or walk together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all, and best of all, it really is free for participants!
The organising team are now in the process of establishing a core team of volunteers, obtaining equipment, training and organising a pilot event. It is expected we will be in a position to commence the junior parkrun early in the new year.
